Terms & Conditions
The terms on which CHRTR provides this website and arranges private motoryacht charter experiences.
1. Who we are
This website and the CHRTR brand (“CHRTR”, “we”, “us”, “our”) are owned and managed by ADVRT Marketing LTD, a company registered in England & Wales. By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What we do
CHRTR markets and arranges private, skippered motoryacht charter experiences on the Solent. We act as a booking and marketing service. The charter experiences themselves are delivered by a trusted fulfilment partner (the “fulfilment company”) with whom we work to provide the vessels, crew and on-the-water service.
Once a booking is confirmed, all customer support, service, operational decisions and the running of your charter are the responsibility of the final fulfilment company. Skippers retain absolute discretion over routes, timings and whether a charter proceeds, including for reasons of weather, sea state, safety or vessel availability.
3. Enquiries, quotes and bookings
An enquiry submitted through this website is a request for information and availability only; it does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once you have received written confirmation and any required payment has been processed. Prices shown on the website are indicative, may change, and are subject to availability.
4. Payment, cancellations and changes
Payment terms, deposits, cancellation windows, rescheduling and refund arrangements are set out in the booking confirmation provided at the time of booking and are administered by the fulfilment company. Charters cancelled by the operator due to weather or safety will be rescheduled or refunded in line with those booking terms.
5. Your responsibilities aboard
Guests must follow all reasonable instructions given by the skipper and crew at all times. You are responsible for the conduct of your party. The operator may refuse boarding to, or remove, anyone who is intoxicated, behaving unsafely, or putting themselves, other guests or the vessel at risk, without refund.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADVRT Marketing LTD accepts no liability for any loss, injury, damage or expense arising from the delivery of a charter, which is provided by the fulfilment company under its own terms and insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, imagery, the CHRTR name and logo, is owned by or licensed to ADVRT Marketing LTD and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the site and any enquiry made after it is posted.
